In this project I built my own trend story and applied it to a womenswear intimates collection for SS17, I Identified key outcomes of the trend such as; silhouettes, colour palettes, prints, detailing, trims and fabric choices.  Adorned Solitude is about independence and making do, a delicate and distressed trend formed from the idea of living a nomad lifestyle. This is womenswear intimates SS17 collection also inspired from research into the V&A Underwear a history of fashion exhibition.The collection will be inspired by 1930s intimates with a soft pastel colour palette influenced by the artist Lourdes Sanchez. The collection will look at finer details such as floral embroidery, and fabrics such as; lace, satin, cotton and chiffon will also influence the silhouette.
